Counselor

Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner.

I’m Lezlie Lough, Financial Aid Advisor/Counselor at MTEC.  As the title implies, my responsibilities are varied between serving as a counselor for high school students as well as the responsibility of managing and administering the financial aid for adult students at MTEC.

I very much enjoy the opportunities that my position allows and I welcome students to my office.   I can be reached at 304-291-9240, ext. 223 or by email at llough@k12.wv.us.

I work closely with the counselors at the three high schools regarding recruitment, enrollment, scheduling and assisting with personal, academic and career counseling needs.  I can be found in my office as well as at Clay-Battelle High School, Morgantown High School and University High School on occasions.

I’m also an attendee at College Fairs and Career Fairs in the area.  On occasion, I tour prospective students on the MTEC campus.

Pierpont Community & Technical College utilizes MTEC as a branch campus and I work closely with personnel at Pierpont regarding EDGE (Earn a Degree Graduate Early) credits.

MTEC students can transfer college credits to Pierpont C&TC.
