Meet the MTEC Financial Aid Advisor

Ms. Bailey-Martinez works closely with the counselors at the three high schools regarding recruitment, enrollment, scheduling and assisting with personal, academic and career counseling needs.  She can be found in her office at MTEC as well as at Clay-Battelle High School, Morgantown High School and University High School on occasions. 


Pierpont Community & Technical College utilizes MTEC as a branch campus and I work closely with personnel at Pierpont regarding EDGE (Earn a Degree Graduate Early) credits.  

MTEC students can transfer college credits to Pierpont C&TC.

Financial Aid involves many aspects including the various forms, procedures and electronic processing.  Financial aid accepted at MTEC includes the following:

 

Pell Grants through FAFSA application

Workforce Investment Act (WIA)

Trade Adjustment Act (TAA)

Veterans Administration (VA)

Vocational Rehabilitation

Scholarships

Americorps

 

MTEC also accepts United Mine Workers Association (UMWA) and 529 College Savings Plan funding.

 

MTEC DOES NOT PROCESS STAFFORD LOANS THROUGH THE FAFSA APPLICATION.
